About Us

RSA Geotechnics was founded in 1980 and its original purpose was to provide site investigation and geotechnical consultancy for clients within the civil engineering and construction sector. Following the growth in urban and brownfield development and an increased awareness of environmental issues during the late 1980s and early 1990s the company has evolved and expanded and now also provides environmental assessment, remedial design and validation services.

The five directors have over 150 years experience in ground engineering and during the past three decades RSA Geotechnics has become established as one of the country’s most respected independent geotechnical and geoenvironmental specialist consultants. We take pride in the quality of our work and are constantly building on our expertise in order to keep up with new technology and techniques to ensure that we remain at the forefront of our field.

Our laboratory is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for compliance with ISO/IEC17025. This is the international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. UKAS accreditation is an assurance that the work is carried out to the highest quality.

Our health and safety management system has been assessed and certified by both Constructionline and the Contractors Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme (CHAS).

RSA Geotechnics is a member of the Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS).
